These guidelines are designed to make your experience comfortable, enjoyable, and safe.
Thank you for being a fantastic guest and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for
your fellow travelers, our neighbors, and our next guests.
Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We've put a lot of effort into
making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests.

Please strictly adhere to the number of guests permitted, as per your booking confirmation.

• No unregistered guests are permitted to stay over.
• No unauthorized events allowed
  Please respect check-in and check-out times. (Check in 2:00 p.m. - check out 10:00 a.m., unless
  otherwise specified on your reservation agreement)
• Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay. This will make it much easier
  when checkout time comes!
• Strictly NO SMOKING in the house.

Whilst we know our guests won't intentionally break anything at our vacation rental, we understand
accidents can happen.

Here is what you need to know about accidental damages or breakages during
your stay:

• Always report any accidental damages or breakages in a timely manner, especially before checkout.
• Please do not move any furniture from one room to another without our permission first.
• If any damage to the property or its appliances is not covered by our insurance, you as guests will be requested to pay for the repair / replacement costs.
• Please respect the noise curfew. (10:00 p.m.)
• No pets allowed - We are not "anti-pets", the house is just not pet friendly, i.e. no grass areas &
  plenty of stairs & balustrading.
• We respectfully request no food or drinks in the bedrooms—please limit eating and drinking to the kitchen and dining areas.
• Please do not take the bathroom towels to the beach - please use your own beach towels.
• To help the environment, please only switch on the dishwasher when it's full and use the eco-
  program where possible.
• Please ensure all fires are thoroughly extinguished before going to bed or leaving the property.
• Please take extra care of your keys & remotes. Lost keys / remotes will incur a replacement fee of
  R 500.00
• Please be Energy-efficient and avoid unnecessary energy consumption.
• Water shortages are not uncommon throughout SA. Please avoid unnecessary water wastage, although the house is equipped with water tanks, these can also run dry, especially during peak season.
  No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, etc.
• Please ensure that all vehicles are parked in designated areas from arrival to departure.
• No parking in the street.
• No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
• We reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors from the property who refuse to follow these house rules.
